I am a therapist with an employment history in the active-duty military, corrections, and public health. I provided values focused, self-enriching, strength-based therapy to clients with relationship issues, parenting issues, trauma history, anxiety, and depression. In therapy, I will teach you about what is happening in your brain, develop skills to manage the mind you have, and techniques to stay on the course of healthy living. I use a model of therapy called acceptance and commitment therapy alongside principles of cognitive therapy, behavior focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. Through a collaborative process, we can explore and address the underlying causes of problematic behaviors, beliefs, and feelings, and together we can begin the process of healing.

I want to help new couples, struggling couples, and parents struggling with parenting healthy happy children. This population is tired, frustrated, ill-informed, and hurting to keep up with an unrealistic expectation. Therapy with me will help them grow a deeper connection in these relationships using acceptance, tolerance, and compassion. My history with the military, correctional system, and public health has uniquely armed me for just about any kind of systemic, or event traumas. I have traveled the world from Germany to Texas and seen what makes us all similar in our suffering and unique in our perspectives.

Therapy with me will be focused on the facts (as we know it) about human development and evaluation. With this knowledge I will help better support your individual growth and understanding of yourself and your behaviors. I will give you practical realistic and informed measures to stop the habits that are causing mayhem in your life and increase the habits that are bringing you joy and fulfillment in your life.
